The Fallen Are in Our Prayers

Scarlet on his hand
He charges for the door
It just rang out again
She's falling toward the floor

The orange yellow flash
A glimmer in the air
The look within her eyes
A twinkle of despair

The fallen are in our prayers
As life began to spill
Hear the angels sing
And time just stood still

This day will be remembered
The year and time as well
The day our peaceful class
Turned into living Hell

What was that, gun fire?
Smell the acid in the air
Will we make it out alive?
Damn shooter is everywhere!

The fallen are in our prayers

Our senses are all numb
Everything such a blur
The power of a mad man
A weight upon this earth

In the moment of weakness,
hatred and despair

The fallen are in our prayers
