Pirate of the Heart

Lavish hair, eyes of blue
You just give in when she smiles at you
Flirtatious life she’ll persue
Her code as pirate every man knew

She’ll sail her ship when the light lost hue
A lighthearted life, a notorious crew
Down to the tavern, Barnaby Blue
In need of a captain she can subdue

Pirates of the heart a lustful sort
With a bottle of powder, small arm and shot
Any man she captures shall be marooned
Or dancing the hempen jig’
To Mary’s fiery tune
Pirate of the heart she’ll consume

Lipstick and rouge, her appeal is due
To what is not known to me and you
Voluptuous nature, pleasures of rum
One share and a half her Captain sir comes

Drunken pirates in their daze
Spending the night in fun and games
As her ship lay at moor
She lies in her rigging her battle won
Pirate of the heart her plunderin’ done

Pirates of the heart a lustful sort
With a bottle of powder, small arm and shot
Any man she captures shall be marooned
Or dancing the hempen jig’
To Mary’s fiery tune
Pirate of the heart she’ll consume

Excitement and adventure was the lure
The unsavory sort the taverns endure
A pirate’s paradise of wharves and ports
Pirates of the heart a lustful sort
